This species is endemic of Tokai region,Honsyu,Japan(Shizuoka pref･Yamanashi pref･Tokyo pref･Kanagawa pref). and It commonly live on the broadleaf tree near stream.
E. callizona is related species of E. amaliae.

but, E. amaliae is live only Kinki region.(example:Osaka prefecture･Kyoto pref･Aichi pref(Near Nagoya)･Shiga pref)
The pattern of the body is same as the pattern of shell (Striped).
